Last year the Strawberry Festival was a huge success and volunteer support was key! Over 850 volunteers worked together before during after the four day event to make sure the 2011 Strawberry ran smoothly. We can't thank these folks enough for donating their valuable time to help out. Our volunteers make a made a positive difference in the lives of young people in our community and that is something they can take great pride in!

As the festival continues to grow each year, so do our volunteer needs! Please join us this year for more fun-filled days at the 2012 Strawberry Festival and be a part of the 40th Anniversary celebration! Your role as a volunteer is critical to the success of the festival!!! For over 4 decades, the Strawberry Festival has been a great tradition in our community but it takes a community of volunteers to make it happen. We need over 800 volunteers to work a shift at the festival – that's over 10,000 volunteer hours! This is a fun and rewarding way to spend a few hours of your time giving back to the community and we encourage you to sign up again and bring your family and/or friends along with you to help!

Volunteer sign-up begins April 1st. If you have volunteered at the festival in the past, we will be mailing/emailing you a reminder to call in March. Volunteer shifts are as follows:

• Thursday, May 31st: 5-8 pm and 8-10 pm
  
• Friday, June1st: 5-8 pm and 8-11 pm
  
• Saturday, June 2nd: 11-2 pm, 2-5 pm, 5-8 pm, and 8-11 pm
  
• Sunday, June 3rd: Noon - 3pm and 3-6 pm

Every volunteer will receive a special Strawberry Festival t-shirt along with a parking pass. Our goal is to have all our volunteers in place by May 21st!
