THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU…With your help, the Strawberry Festival has reached new heights! We are excited to report that the 2009 Strawberry Festival was a tremendous success, breaking all records and attracting huge crowds!

On behalf of the Brandywine Health Foundation, our Board of Directors and the 2009 Strawberry Festival Committee, we would like to thank you for generously volunteering your time to help out at this year’s Strawberry Festival. Your support is a critical component to the success of the festival and together, we produced the best Strawberry Festival ever with net proceeds in excess of $115,000 and record breaking crowds.

Despite the slow start, as soon as the weather cleared, the community came out by the thousands to spend many fun filled hours at this unique festival. The Strawberry Festival was an exciting and affordable way to spend a few fun filled days close to home. The beautiful grounds of Brandywine Hospital provided a very safe, family-friendly environment and from the endless sea of smiles we saw, it looked like everyone was having a great time. The feedback we have received from the community this year has been extremely positive and you played a vital role in ensuring that everyone who attended had a great experience. We hope you feel very proud to have been affiliated with the Strawberry Festival this year.

Thank you again for your participation in this year’s Strawberry Festival. The festival is a volunteer driven event and we feel very fortunate to have friends like you supporting our efforts to bring this annual event to the greater Coatesville area. Your generosity allows us to continue to advance the mission of the Brandywine Health Foundation to provide better access to healthcare and more health and wellness programs to our community.

Volunteering at the Strawberry Festival can be a fun and rewarding way to benefit the community. Many who have volunteered in the past return year after year to help set up, to work at the children’s events, help with the Used Book Sale, staff a ticket booth, and a variety of other tasks that help the Festival serve as one of the most successful community benefits in the area each year.

Whether it’s for two hours or a full day, you too can give back to your community – and have fun at the same time!
