Food Drive
Supporting the Chester County Food Bank

Hunger can be hard to see in Chester County. It's the mom feeding her kids oatmeal for dinner every night at the end of the month. It's the senior making the can of soup with twice as much water to make it last longer. Right now, 1 in 10 people are skipping meals due to lack of food – and that’s why we are holding a food drive!

Join with the BRANDYWINE HEALTH FOUNDATION as we gather food items at the 2009 Strawberry Festival to help the 32,000 households in Chester County that don’t have enough food.

OUR GOAL
Over 25,000 people visit the Strawberry Festival each year. It is our hope that everyone attending the festival brings a food item to donate to help stop hunger here in Chester County.

FOOD NEEDED

Soups
Canned Pasta meals
Dry MICROWAVE MEALS
Pasta, Rice or Dry Noodles

Canned Veggies & Fruit

Donation Location
Collections areas will be located in the festival parking areas off Reeceville Road and Fisherville Road.
