COOL, CALM, AND COPACETIC… that's the most effective way to describe Common Crave. "C Crave" is made up of three very different guys with one ambition—to make their mark in the music world by creating and producing the best, the hippest and the hottest music possible. The fly guys of Common Crave are Dave Humes, George Waldie, and Nick "Souks" Matsoukas--with live help from Nate Barnett and Brandon Rutter on drums and bass. Each adding their own signatures from different genres of music, the combination of them explodes into a nasty mess of hip-hop, rock, jazz, funk, and R&B. They are currently in the studio in the middle of recording their debut album.

Common Crave has played in venues such as The TLA, The Northstar Bar, and the Khyber. The three songwriters of the group (Nick, George, and Dave) all grew up in West Chester, Pennsylvania before completing Common Crave with Jersey natives Nate and Brandon in early 2005. Building up their fanbase while attending Drexel University in Philadelphia, Common Crave soon achieved such accomplishments as playing in the Philadelphia final round of Emergenza Music Festival (4th of over 250 bands) in spring '05; winning a songwriting competition with "Try So Hard" in summer '07; being selected for the 2007 Brotherly Shove Music Festival Compilation; getting radio play at Widener, UVM, XM Radio, and The Nail (syndicated on over 25 stations in the greater Philly and Lehigh Valley area), among quite a few other impressive opportunities for this up and coming force in the east coast music scene. www.commoncravemusic.com
